Lauren Herbst

Lauren Herbst is a native Texan analog photographer and artist based in Dallas, Texas. Lauren grew up in a small town, New Hope, and graduated achieving a BFA in studio art with an emphasis in photography at the University of North Texas. Lauren draws inspiration from travel, romanticism, her experiences with deja vu and dreams. Her work seeks to evoke feelings of detachment from reality through her use of in camera multiple exposures. Focusing on color, the female form, landscapes, and the romantic gaze her photos reveal a dreamlike state.
